KUBO is the world specialist in the field of innovative and sustainable greenhouse projects. With (semi-closed) greenhouses and Smart Growing Concepts we create the ultimate indoor climate that uses the least possible energy and water for optimal growing. Our vision is to really want to make a difference for people and for our planet. We do this together with 150 employees who are active in the office, at our own production facility in the Netherlands and at construction sites worldwide.

To expand the team we are looking for a:

Technical Engineer

As a Technical Engineer you are the contact person for various technical issues within the organization and for our customers. You make strength calculations of steel constructions and are also responsible for technical calculations for engineering contracts and permit processes. Consultation with both national and international authorities and engineers are also part of your duties. You are responsible for keeping local building standards that apply to our projects up-to-date, both nationally and internationally.

As a Technical Engineer you identify shortcomings and improvement opportunities in the organization and you are responsible for making reports and portfolios. Finally, you actively participate in consultations, both internally and externally and you follow company-provided training, instructions and information.

• Has a completed HBO education, preferably technical;
• Has at least 1 year of work experience in a similar position;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
• Can keep a good overview, is stress resistant and can switch between tasks;
• Has knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and Autocad. Knowledge of Mathcad, CASTA, ERP systems and Matrix Frame is an advantage;
• Has numerical insight;
• Has good communication skills;
• Is proactive and alert;
• Can work well independently;
• Does not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
